My fourth year long-term project requires a pre-1970 building, big enough to accommodate 3 storeys and a suitable major project.
In that respect, I chose to work with the Bonded Warehouse, in Cork City. The old abandoned building is located behind the Custom House, between Anderson’s Quay and Custom House Quay. It is a beautiful building, both externally and internally, and is quite large for the project I am required to achieve. Its location, quite central, is also very interesting for a community-gathering project.
More research and details to come, but here is an overview of the warehouse, in a precious video from Dr Marc O’Riain.
